COMMENTS:
The Aviation Museum in Kbely, Prague, Czech Republic, is one of the largest and most comprehensive aviation museums in the country. The museum was established in 1968, and is is located at the historic Kbely Airfield, which was the first military airfield in Czechoslovakia, inaugurated in 1918.

NOVÝ SVĚT
Nový Svět, which translates to "New World," is a quaint and charming area located in the Hradčany district of Prague, not far from the Prague Castle.

The weather in the western part of Czechia was really beautiful today and far too nice to be in the city! I decided to take a drive to Hřensko and to spend the day walking around the area.

COMMENTARY:
The Velvet Revolution was a peaceful, non-violent uprising in Czechoslovakia that took place in late 1989. The revolution led to the end of 41 years of communist rule in the country and the transition to a parliamentary republic.

In 1942, Lidice was a small Czech village located approximately 20kms from Prague and 8kms from the town of Kladno.
