COMMENTS: Driving into Prague through the Karlín District of Prague, you will pass an office building against which is placed a large metallic sculpture of what appears to be a naked lady. This sculpture is known as "The Amazon" or "The Biker."

The Aviation Museum in Kbely, Prague, Czech Republic, is one of the largest and most comprehensive aviation museums in the country. The museum was established in 1968, and is is located at the historic Kbely Airfield, which was the first military airfield in Czechoslovakia, inaugurated in 1918.

Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, has a rich and varied history dating back over a millennium. Below I provide you a brief brief overview:
1. Early History and Foundation

LIDICE
In 1942, Lidice was a small Czech village located approximately 20kms from Prague and 8kms from the town of Kladno.

COMMENTS
Strahov Monastery is a Premonstratensian abbey founded in 1143 by Jindřích Zdík, Bishop John of Prague, and Vladislaus II, Duke of Bohemia. The abbey is located in the Strahov area of Prague and its situation allows for commanding views over the city and the Petřín Park.
